Let your canine chum stretch his legs while you grab some fresh air and some swell views of the city. See this impressive showcase of metal and motors. Feast your eyes on over 700 classic cars in a retro environment with music, talks and even a bit of celebrity spotting.
 
 
What? Spanish Calcotada Festival
Where? Tapas Brindisa Shoreditch, Shoreditch
When? Saturday February 9th - Sunday March 31st
This unusual Catalonian tradition involves chargrilling these long leek/spring onion hybrid vegetables, peeling them, dipping the ends in a Romesco (pepper and tomato) sauce and lowering them into your mouth from a great height. Wash down with jugs of red wine poured from a similarly risky height. Is it going to be messy? Yes. Will it be it fun? Most definitely.

Back again for another wintery stint, Sipsmith Gin's the star of the show at this cocktail pop-up on the Ham Yard Hotel roof. Sip on hot G&Ts, steaming Juleps and re-invented classics from previous editions of Hot Gin Roof. Book in advance to nab a spot on the sofas.
 
 
What? Craft Beer Rising

February can be miserable, but this should make you hoppy: a three-day festival showcasing bevvies from 175 of the world’s best breweries. Expect an overflowing line-up of street food, DJ sets and dead delicious suds.
 
 
What? Videogames
Where? V&A, Brompton
When? Until Sunday February 24th
Videogames will encompass both the design and culture of its namesake since the mid-2000s, looking at exceptional artwork and animation, player communities and political conversations that define this era of gaming.
 
 
What? The Chocolate Cocktail Club
Where? 202 Brick Lane, Brick Lane
When? Until Sunday May 26th 2019
Love chocolate and cocktails? Then prepare for a serious sugar rush at this pop-up which combines the two. Your ticket includes a chocolate martini, aka a Chocotini, which you can chuck back while you survey the menu of chocolaty, boozy beverages, including chocolate twists on classic cocktails. You’ve got an hour and a half to drink your weight in chocolate and alcohol. There'll also be an onsite chef making Chocolate brownies, plus chocolate beer, chocolate wine, and procescco on the menu.
